What You’ll Do:
- Lead with Vision: Be the go-to person for transportation guidance, task execution, and workflow management. You’ll drive the integration of all functions at the site for maximum efficiency.
- Set the Standard: Ensure compliance with our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and train your team to follow them. You’ll be the one who makes sure everything runs smoothly, and any issues are swiftly corrected.
- Own the Process: From customer load quote requests to negotiating rates, you’ll ensure everything moves swiftly, professionally, and accurately. Your leadership will directly impact customer satisfaction!
- Build Relationships: Train Dispatch Agents to select the best carriers, optimize operations, and deliver outstanding service. You'll also be the key contact for carriers, building strong partnerships for long-term success.
- Stay Proactive: You’ll be on top of all documentation, from shipment status to carrier performance, making sure no detail goes unnoticed.
- Tackle Challenges: Shipment issues? No problem! You'll troubleshoot like a pro, keeping things on track and leading your team to success.
- Inspire and Develop: Motivate your team by leading from the front. You’ll coach, mentor, and help your employees develop their skills, all while fostering a positive and supportive work environment.

What You Bring:
- Proven Leadership: With 5+ years in transportation or logistics and at least 2+ years in a supervisory role, you know how to lead and inspire a team.
- Expert Problem-Solver: You understand the ins and outs of DOT rules, vehicle load specs, and route procedures, and you can handle any challenge that comes your way.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient with TMS software, Word, Excel, and more, you’ll leverage data to drive better decision-making.
- Flexible and Reliable: Your schedule is flexible—ready to work graveyard hours, weekends, holidays, and whatever it takes to get the job done. You’ll even travel for a month of training in California.
- Strong Communicator: You’ll communicate clearly at all levels and build lasting relationships with carriers, customers, and employees alike.
