We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Cashier to join our retail team! As a vital point of contact for our customers, you will be providing exceptional service, handling transactions efficiently, and ensuring a smooth checkout process. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster customer loyalty and drive sales growth. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in a friendly, professional manner
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for retail math calculations
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
