Security Officer (Full-Time and Part-Time)

As a Security Officer, you will support a facility recognized for excellence in patient care across cancer, heart and vascular, critical care, neurology, digestive health, and women’s services.

Schedule:
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts
- Rotating weekends and holidays required
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED/HiSet required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred:
- Experience in security, healthcare, law enforcement, military, or related field
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Job Summary:
The Security Officer protects patients, staff, visitors, and hospital property. Responsibilities include patrol, emergency response, access control, and customer service throughout the medical center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol hospital buildings and grounds to prevent unauthorized access and safety hazards
- Monitor cameras and respond to alarms and emergency codes
- Enforce access control and issue visitor badges
- Respond to incidents and assist with de-escalation of disruptive situations
- Provide escorts for patients, visitors, and staff
- Assist with traffic control and emergency situations
- Complete incident reports and conduct preliminary investigations
Skills:
- Report writing and basic computer skills
- Ability to stay calm in high-pressure situations
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
