NOW HIRING: TODDLER TEACHER
Do you love the busy, curious, silly, and wonderfully messy toddler years? We’re looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic Toddler Teacher to join our Christian, play-based childcare family!
Our center believes young children learn best through play, exploration, relationships, and hands-on experiences. We also strive to create an environment where children experience God’s love through kindness, patience, compassion, and the way we care for one another.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Genuinely enjoys working with toddlers
- Is patient, nurturing, dependable, and positive
- Understands that play is an important part of learning
- Can create fun, developmentally appropriate activities and experiences
- Is comfortable incorporating simple Christian values, Bible stories, songs, prayer, and kindness into the classroom
- Communicates well with families and coworkers
- Can work as part of a supportive teaching team
- Understands that toddler classrooms involve lots of movement, hugs, diaper changes, messes, laughter, and learning!
What you’ll do:
- Build loving, trusting relationships with children
- Create engaging play-based learning opportunities
- Support social-emotional, language, physical, and cognitive development
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, organized classroom
- Communicate with families about their child’s day and development
- Help children learn important skills such as sharing, independence, problem-solving, and caring for others
- Most importantly—help make our classroom a place where toddlers feel safe, loved, valued, and excited to learn
**Experience in childcare is preferred, but we are also willing to consider the right person who has a heart for children and a willingness to learn.
