Summary
As a Service Writer at Annapolis Subaru, you will be the vital link between our customers and the service department. This role is essential in ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service while effectively communicating their needs to our skilled technicians. We are looking for an experienced Service writer to join our growing team!
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assess their service needs with professionalism and courtesy.
- Create detailed repair orders for technicians based on customer complaints and vehicle issues.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding service recommendations, costs, and timelines.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with the service team to streamline operations and enhance the customer experience.
- Stay informed about product updates, services offered, and promotions to provide accurate information to customers.
- Assist in managing the flow of vehicles in the service department to optimize efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within an automotive environment.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
- Experience in service writing.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Basic understanding of automotive repair processes
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with dealership operations.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
