Are you looking for a job where you can have fun, stay active, and make a difference in someone's life?
MYEP's Adult Day Program is looking for caring, energetic, and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support adults with disabilities in a recreation-based, community-focused program in Iowa City.
As a DSP, you'll help participants build independence, develop friendships, learn new skills, and engage in activities throughout the community. No two days are exactly the same. You might spend the morning visiting a local museum, library, or park and the afternoon helping with a cooking group, art project, game, or fitness activity. Activities regularly include swimming, bowling, pickleball, volunteer opportunities, community events, cooking classes, music groups, arts and crafts, gardening, and outings throughout Johnson County.
