Account Executive – Winter Footwear
The Account Executive will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of winter footwear accounts. This role requires a strong combination of sales expertise, product knowledge, strategic thinking, and relationship management. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience working with sporting goods retailers, specialty footwear stores, department stores, and/or e-commerce partners.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow assigned retail and wholesale accounts to achieve sales and profitability targets.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans that align with company objectives.
- Build strong relationships with buyers, merchandising teams, and key decision-makers.
- Present seasonal product lines, pricing strategies, and promotional opportunities.
- Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and inventory commitments while maintaining company margins.
- Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure successful product launches and account support.
- Forecast sales and inventory requirements accurately.
- Attend trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events.
- Conduct regular business reviews and provide actionable recommendations to maximize account performance.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of sales or account management experience, in winter footwear
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to travel as needed
