The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for providing assistance to all departments for basic repair of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems. This position must also conduct regular maintenance rounds, keep area clean, and perform preventative maintenance as directed.

Provide exceptional guest service to all internal and external guests.

Troubleshoot general plumbing problems and repair.

Troubleshoot general electrical problems and repair.

Troubleshoot general HVAC problems and repair.

Troubleshoot general carpentry problems and repair.

Read and adjust pool equipment.

Operate snow removal equipment.

Conduct all work in a safe manner, and encourage other to work safely as well.

Be attentive to the conditions of the building, and if necessary, alert necessary management of guest safety issues.

Critically evaluate problems and correctly apply new solutions.

High school diploma; 1 year building maintenance experience; or equivalent combination of experience and training.

Utilize previous practices and procedures to assess and correct new issues that are confronted.

Maintain courteous and effective working relationships with others, as well as guests.
