Motor Coach Driver with Immediate Openings
We are hiring experienced Motor Coach Drivers for immediate full-time and part-time opportunities.
Starting pay is $30 per hour, with pay based on experience, qualifications, and assignment type. We are looking for safety-focused, dependable professionals who take pride in delivering a clean, comfortable, and high-quality passenger experience.
Position Overview
Motor Coach Drivers safely operate full-size charter buses for corporate transportation, airport transfers, shuttles, sporting events, weddings, tours, conventions, and long-distance trips.
This position requires prior professional motor coach driving experience.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers throughout Chicago, the surrounding suburbs, and long-distance destinations.
- Complete electronic pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs, trip paperwork, mileage records, and required DOT documentation.
- Follow assigned routes, schedules, pickup instructions, and company operating procedures.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, office staff, clients, and passengers.
- Keep vehicles clean, presentable, and ready for service.
- Report maintenance concerns, damage, safety issues, delays, or route changes promptly.
- Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, company policies, and passenger safety procedures.
- Remain calm and professional during traffic delays, weather events, schedule changes, and other unexpected situations.
- Maintain a professional appearance and wear the company uniform while on duty.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with Passenger and Air Brake Endorsements.
- Prior professional motor coach driving experience
- Experience operating full-size coaches such as MCI, Prevost, Van Hool, Setra, TEMSA, or comparable equipment strongly preferred.
- Clean driving record and ability to provide a current Motor Vehicle Record.
- No drug- or alcohol-related driving convictions.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, background check, and other required screenings.
- Strong familiarity with Chicago, surrounding suburbs, airports, hotels, major venues, and regional highways.
- Comfortable using electronic logging systems, navigation tools, and mobile communication apps.
- Strong customer-service skills and professional English communication.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight or long-distance assignments.
- Ability to assist passengers and perform job-related physical tasks, including standing, walking, securing wheelchairs, and handling light luggage when needed.

Schedule and Work Environment
