Heinze Service Group is looking for an experienced, dependable, and skilled Lead Carpenter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional who can take ownership of residential remodeling and construction projects from start to finish while maintaining high-quality workmanship and professionalism.
Position: Lead Carpenter
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee residential remodeling and construction projects
- Perform hands-on carpentry and general construction work
- Read and understand plans, measurements, and project specifications
- Handle framing, drywall, trim, doors, flooring, cabinets, and other finish carpentry
- Assist with kitchen and bathroom renovations
- Coordinate with subcontractors and other members of the crew
- Maintain jobsite organization, cleanliness, and safety
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and provide updates on project progress
- Identify potential issues and provide solutions before they become larger problems
- Ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and according to company standards
- Take measurements and assist with material planning
- Help manage daily workflow and keep projects moving according to schedule
- Represent Heinze Service Group professionally at every job
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of residential construction/carpentry experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of residential remodeling and construction
- Ability to work independently and lead a small crew
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to read measurements and use common construction tools
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Must be dependable, punctual, and professional
- Must be comfortable communicating directly with homeowners
- Ability to lift materials and perform physically demanding work
- OSHA/safety knowledge is a plus

Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience and skill level.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, with occasional additional hours depending on project needs.
