American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a high-volume ED with a significant behavioral health patient population, requiring AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and a KS or compact RN license.

13-week contract position in a hospital Emergency Department

High volume of behavioral health patients in the ED

Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Work location and orientation location differ — orientation is held at a separate campus

Active KS or compact RN license required

Minimum 2 years of ED RN experience required

Required certifications (all must be AHA): BLS, ACLS, PALS

TNCC required, renewed every 4 years

NIH Stroke Scale certification required (Group A renewed yearly; Groups B–F renewed every 2 years)

CPI/MOAB High-Risk training required — online portion must be completed prior to start, on-site portion completed during orientation

Valid US Social Security Number and US home address required

Driver's License copy required for consideration

Two professional references required for consideration

Unit specializes in emergency care with a notably high volume of behavioral health cases

CPI Blue Card Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Advanced Physical Skills or MOAB De-Escalation Course (online) must be completed before the start date
