Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's outgoing payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies and procedures. Duties
- Process and verify all incoming invoices and expense reports using various accounting software.
- Ensure all payments are accurately coded, approved, and executed in accordance with company policies.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions regularly to identify discrepancies or errors.
- Maintain detailed records of all transactions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and vendor communications.
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, human resources, and other departments to resolve invoice discrepancies or payment issues promptly.
- Assist with month-end closing activities by preparing accruals and supporting documentation for audits.
- Support compliance initiatives internal audits related to accounts payable processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with a strong focus on accounts payable functions.
- Proficiency with financial software systems.
- Solid understanding of accounting concepts including double-entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, general ledger accounting, and journal entries.
- Strong analysis skills with attention to detail; ability to perform account reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation efficiently.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
