Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to handle physical demands associated with the job.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and delivery confirmations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Assist with heavy lifting and moving of items as required during deliveries.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation skills is essential.
- Experience in customer service is highly valued, as interaction with clients is a key aspect of the role.
