The Warehouse Team Lead is a hands-on production role as well as responsible for assigning work to team members, being a hands-on problem-solver in dealing with production or logistics issues, training new hires and associates on procedures and best practices, and ensuring company standard operating procedures (S.O.P.s) are followed. The Team Lead will support the warehouse leadership team in completing assigned daily operational activities and meeting company objectives for quality, production, and inventory integrity. The Team Lead is critical in developing a team culture focused on engagement, continuous improvement, and operational execution, and is considered the “go to” for day-to-day process and procedural matters.

Function as the “on-the-floor” go-to and process expert for employees.

Manage work assignments and operational functions for the assigned areas of responsibility to ensure consistent flow in meeting daily operations requirements.

Function as the primary point of contact for your assigned operational activities. Assists in trouble shooting and problem solving any concerns and determining urgencies and priority of tasks.

Lead problem solving efforts, coach team members in resolving conflicts and achieving results and provide ongoing training. Will be responsible for these tasks while driving continuous improvement.

Perform inventory validations and adjustments.

Train associates and hold accountability for quality results and initiatives.

Manage reports and participate in individual associate coaching sessions to achieve KPI’s meet productivity standards.

Maintain a safe, clean, well-organized, and OSHA/FDA compliant warehouse.

Actively engage teams to generate operational and process improvement ideas. Contribute ideas to improve quality and customer experience. Be a driver of implementing measures adopted to act upon.

Perform or assist with other duties and projects as needed.

Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience in similar industries.
- 7 years, experience in working in a matrix environment in which collaboration in all directions is necessary.

1 year, experience leading a team(preferred).
- Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.

Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
