Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Occasional <PERSON> to provide compassionate, attentive care for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children. Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children during scheduled care periods, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Assist with child supervision in various settings, including homes, daycare centers, or community events
- Provide age-appropriate activities that promote learning and fun for children of all ages
- Support families with childcare needs such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and playtime routines
- Implement basic first aid and CPR procedures in case of emergencies, maintaining safety standards at all times
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's activities and any concerns that arise
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children across different age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children
- Prior nannying or babysitting experience with multiple children preferred
- Knowledge of child supervision techniques and childcare best practices
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
- Certification in first aid and CPR required; ongoing training preferred
- Ability to provide reliable personal transportation assistance when needed
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude toward caregiving roles
