Pricing Analyst
FT Hourly Non-Exempt Hybrid
Summary:
The Pricing Analyst is responsible for all aspects of margin analysis, management and reporting of invoiced profit by reviewing and analyzing key drivers contributing to margin loss/gain that exceed optimal thresholds, conflict with supplier contract agreements or cause discrepancies. Additionally, the Pricing Analyst analyzes historical data and MOP pricing tool to inform Sales Team of price target for optimal profit. The Pricing Analyst supports pricing team with other responsibilities including implementation of price increases and all data entry related to accurate customer pricing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be
assigned.
- Daily review and analysis of IV (Invoice) Hold report for key drivers impacting margin, confirming accurate price, material cost and freight prior to invoice to maximize profit and minimize discrepancies.
- Research historical data to inform on margin, cost, freight, and price fluctuation.
- Communicate to Sales Team details of margin variances suggesting optimal pricing to improve margin.
- Utilize pricing tool to inform on optimal margin for product line and customer stratification.
- Support pricing team with price/cost change implementation.
- Support pricing team with all data entry related to accurate customer product file maintenance (Key accounts).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools specifically Excel as well as utilization of both ERP and CRM systems.

Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
· Previous analyst experience necessary, pricing experience helpful
· Previous chemical Industry Knowledge helpful
· Must be able to multitask
· Must be organized
· Must have excellent time management skills
· Ability to prioritize work, determining what is critical and needs to be completed
· Self-motivated, honest, dependable and a high-level of integrity.
· Good interpersonal skills.
· Detail-oriented, well organized, and strong analytical and math skills.
· Good PC and MS Office skills, especially Excel.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
