Adaptive Health is looking for an experienced Android developer to help design, build, and maintain the next generation of applications for mental health. Duties will include collaboration with the clinical and business teams, understanding and developing new features, identifying and fixing application bottlenecks, maintaining the application, and updating the applications on the Google Play Store.
You must have a working knowledge of the Android development environment, be proficient in Kotlin, and be able to work as part of a team

The developer will report directly to the CTO.
Designing and building mobile applications for the Android platform
Defining and implementing new features
Ensuring quality and performance of the application
Identifying potential problems and resolving application bottlenecks
Fixing application bugs
Publishing application on App Store
Designing and implementing application updates
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent
Prior experience as an app developer
Proficiency in Kotlin
Experience with Android studio and the Android SDK
Knowledge of Android design principles and application interface guidelines
Experience with version control using Git
Understanding of and experience with REST APIs
Familiarity with information security and privacy concerns, preferably with respect to HIPAA requirements
Experience with SDLC projects from requirements through support
Excellent debugging and problem solving skills
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Must be self directed, analytical, and work well in a team environment
