- Diagnoses and resolves common equipment failures using standard diagnostic tools.
- Basic multimeter skills, megger skills.
- Able to read and understand wiring diagrams, plans and specifications.
- Verifies system readiness, settings, and materials before beginning work.
- Works independently within defined scope and procedures.
- Recognizes limitations and escalates complex or non-routine issues.
- Demonstrates accountability for task quality and outcomes.
- Identifies safety deviations and stops work when required.
- Applies safety protocols without reminders.
- Maintains compliance with site-specific safety requirements.
- Completes accurate service documentation without assistance.
- Communicates service status, findings, and recommendations clearly to customers and supervisors.
- Provides informal guidance to Service Technician 1 employees.
- Supports team efficiency through clear communication and coordination.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to work independently within defined limits
- Working knowledge of process equipment and diagnostics
- Willingness to travel to jobsites in IN, OH and KY territories.
- Technical certificate or degree
- Introductory exposure to pumps, valves, or process equipment
- Intermediate industrial skills training
- OEM or equipment-specific training
- PLC & HMI knowledge/programming
