Irr Supply Centers, Inc. is seeking an energetic Delivery Driver. This position will deliver product and perform various warehouse duties while providing excellent customer service to our valued customers.
Job Description
The Delivery Driver transports and picks up product for customers in a safe and efficient manner. This position makes deliveries and pick-ups promptly while maintaining a strong focus on professional, friendly customer service, as the driver frequently interacts directly with customers at job sites and businesses.
Additionally, the Delivery Driver observes all safety regulations including driving safely and obeying all traffic rules and regulations. When not making deliveries, the Delivery Driver will assist in the warehouse by performing general warehouse duties that may include shipping, receiving, picking orders, and material handling.
This role is physically active and requires frequent lifting, loading, and unloading of materials throughout the day.
Qualifications
- Good driving record and a valid driver license
- CDL license not required but must pass DOT Physical and Federally regulated drug test including marijuana
- Preferably six months to one year of experience making deliveries in a flatbed or box van
- Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
- At least six months experience in a warehouse environment
- Experience in forklift operation
- Industry knowledge a plus but not required
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move heavy materials as part of daily delivery and warehouse responsibilities
