Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated X-Ray Technician to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray technology and other advanced medical imaging modalities. Duties
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and department protocols.
- Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, including digital radiography systems.
- Ensure proper patient identification, history verification, and exam preparation.
- Follow radiation safety standards and ALARA principles to minimize patient and staff exposure.
- Review images for quality and repeat examinations when necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in the EMR/PACS.
MUST HAVE:
- AART Certificate
- 2+ Years of experience as an X-ray Tech
- Rhode Island State License
