Duties
- · Process and review payroll, employee time records, deductions, shift differentials, overtime, and payroll corrections.
· Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, eligibility changes, employee questions, and benefit deductions.
· Manage full-cycle recruiting activities, including job postings, applicant screening, interviewing, offers, background checks, drug screenings, and onboarding.
· Support high-volume recruiting for hourly production, skilled technical, administrative, and leadership positions.
· Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS and payroll systems.
· Assist employees and supervisors with questions regarding company policies, payroll, benefits, attendance, and workplace expectations.
· Address employee relations matters professionally, consistently, and confidentially.
· Assist with workplace investigations, counseling documentation, corrective actions, performance evaluations, and terminations.
· Coordinate new-hire orientation, onboarding, and required employment documentation.
· Monitor attendance, leave requests, and compliance with company policies.
· Support compliance with federal and Tennessee employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA, workers’ compensation, and I-9 requirements.
· Assist with HR reporting, audits, policy development, and continuous process improvement.
· Build positive working relationships with employees and leaders throughout the manufacturing facility.
· Provide additional HR support based on changing operational and workforce needs.
Required Qualifications
- Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of progressive human resources experience.
- Demonstrated experience working in several HR functions, including payroll, benefits administration, talent acquisition, recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and HR compliance.
- Strong payroll and timekeeping knowledge, including overtime calculations, shift differentials, deductions, and payroll auditing.
- Experience using HRIS, payroll, applicant-tracking, and timekeeping systems.
- Working knowledge of federal and Tennessee employment laws and HR best practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous human resources experience in a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or production environment.
- Experience supporting multiple shifts and a diverse hourly workforce.
- Experience with high-volume recruiting and staffing agency coordination.
- Professional certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
- Experience with Paylocity or a comparable HRIS and payroll platform.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
- Ability to work independently while remaining collaborative and responsive to employees and leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
