Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned leader in the ambulatory surgery world. This RN Director will have the opportunity to begin and grow a brand-new orthopedic surgery center. Must be a Registered Nurse with ambulatory surgery center experience. In this role, you will facilitate high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. You will be responsible for driving efficiency, developing improvement plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- With the assistance of the management company, responsible for clinical decisions at the center including accreditation (State, Medicare, and AAAHC)
- Implement and enforce policies and procedures
- Stay well-versed in current standards.
- Negotiate best pricing from vendors
- Attend board meetings and respond to all surgeon, anesthesia, and staff matters quickly and thoroughly.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services.
- Hire and train all staff as well as discipline staff when needed.
- Orthopedic experience required.
- Surgery center leadership experience required
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Well-versed in state, Medicare, and AAAHC standards.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation practices.
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on compassion and empathy.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Previous experience as an ambulatory surgery center leader is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
