About the Role:
Scheidler Health Associates LLC is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our growing healthcare team in Hamilton, OH. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, physical exams, and health histories
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses and medical conditions
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging
- Provide patient education on health management, disease prevention, and wellness
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation in the EMR system
Requirements:
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of Ohio
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited program
- Current board certification (FNP, AGNP, or relevant specialty)
- Valid DEA license or eligibility to obtain one
- Experience in primary care, family medicine, or a related clinical setting preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
