MCW is a metal fabrication company located in Wooster, Ohio. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic team player to join us as a Welder/Fabricator in the field and shop. This person must be reliable, have a positive attitude, possess the ability to work at a quick pace, and show a strong commitment to quality! TIG welding and press brake experience is a must.
Job Summary
Ability to read blueprints, MIG weld mild steel and stainless steel. Aluminum experience and TIG Welding. Understand press brake and shear use. Stainless Steel Fabrication with Food Grade experience a plus.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
· Set-up, lay-out
· Tack-up and weld of various precision products
· Ability to tack up structures to tight tolerances
· Weld precision products to exact tolerances
· Hold final required cosmetic finish with angle grinders and sanders
· Daily customer contact and negotiations
· Field Installations (mostly indoors at commercial and industrial customers)
· Field Repairs (mostly indoors at industrial customers)
· Job quoting of field work
· Coordination with project managers and shop supervisor for personnel needs
· Operate industrial equipment as needed
· Make deliveries to customers using company vehicles as needed
· Safety and housekeeping
· Other duties as requested, directed or assigned by the Supervisor
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
