FlexTrades is hiring Brazers to join a manufacturing team building industrial equipment. This role is responsible for brazing copper, stainless steel, and brass tubing assemblies while working from blueprints, ensuring high-quality connections, and supporting production of complete units and sub-assemblies.

Responsibilities
- Braze copper, stainless steel, and brass tubing using oxy-acetylene torches and specified filler metals.
- Perform copper-to-copper, copper-to-stainless, and copper-to-brass brazing operations.
- Read and interpret blueprints with both metric and inch measurements.
- Clean tubing and prepare materials before brazing.
- Inspect brazed joints for quality, penetration, leaks, and defects.
- Repair or rework brazed joints that do not meet quality standards.
- Assemble sub-components and perform light mechanical assembly as required.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and torque tools safely and correctly.
- Support pressure testing, leak testing, or end-of-line testing when qualified.
- Work in standing, kneeling, and crouching positions while completing assembly and brazing tasks.
Qualifications
- Experience performing brazing in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to braze copper-to-copper tubing assemblies.
- Experience brazing dissimilar metals such as copper to stainless steel or brass preferred.
- Experience using oxy-acetylene torches.
- Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
- Ability to work from metric and inch-based drawings.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and torque tools.
- Mechanical assembly experience preferred.
- Welding experience with knowledge of metallurgy and heat control considered.
- EPA 608 Universal Certification is a plus.
Pay and Benefits:
- Pay: $34/hour
- Guaranteed Overtime Each Week paid at time and a half
- Access to a full suite of benefits

- Per diem ($45/day)
