Pay & Schedule
- $17.40/hr + shift premium $0.35/hr (when working nights).
- 2 days and 2 nights required : Day shift 7am -- 7pm / Night shift 7pm -- 7am.
- Mandatory Overtime is required for 1-2 days during this busy season.
- Overtime may be required during busy season/based on business needs.
** Opportunity to be promoted to a Machine Adjuster position if adequate mechanical skills are
demonstrated after 90 days with the possibility to earn up to $23.83/hr if successful progress is
being made based on the requirements for the position.
Primary Duties
- Loads paper on to automatic hand-fed/web envelope folding machines; pack finished product.
- Inspects quality of envelopes, labels cartons, reports variances to key personnel.
- Checks current production orders/schedules to determine daily production requirements.
- May be required to complete rework
- Cleans up work area during/end of shift.
- Other duties as assigned/required.
Job Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent.
- * 6 months of relevant work experience in a production environment.
- Quality inspection skills and ability to measure/read a ruler.
- Basic math, verbal/written communication, computer skills
- Detail oriented, safety focused, and reliable
- Consistent attendance and dependability are critical for this role
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, bending, climbing, and reaching
- Lift up to 55 lbs; manual dexterity required
- Work around noise, machinery, inks, solvents, and glue
- Ability to work in hot or cold conditions and stay alert around equipment
- Able to keep pace with high speed production for a full shift
