Job Posting 24-014 Portable Fire Extinguisher Technician
BFPE International is seeking a full time Portable Fire Extinguisher Technician to join our BFPE
Family. Entry-level positions also exist and training will be provided.
The role of a Portable Fire Extinguisher Technician is to perform inspection and service on a variety
of portable fire extinguishers and emergency lighting.
A candidate, with experience, must also be able to identify non-conformance issues and complete
accurate paperwork detailing inspection, and services.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Experience a plus, but not required. Would prefer at least 1-2 years of proven experience in
the portable fire extinguisher industry.
- Ability to lift at least 75lbs and possibly work in tight spaces.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Possess professional business communications skills, both written and oral.
- Self-learner, self-motivated, dedicated, organized, and a team player.
- Must have good communication and organization skills, be able to develop and maintain a high
level of customer satisfaction, and accomplish tasks in a timely and safe manner.
