As a full-time Human Resources Generalist for Aalberts IPSA, you will partner with employees and leaders to support key HR functions, including employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, compliance, and engagement. This role helps drive a positive workplace culture while ensuring HR practices align with business objectives and organizational growth.

your challenge
- Support the administration and continuous improvement of HR programs, policies, and procedures.
- Partner with managers to facilitate the hourly performance management and employee development processes.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including employee inquiries, enrollment changes, invoice reconciliation, and communication of benefit offerings.
- Lead hourly recruiting efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, extending offers, and coordinating onboarding activities.
- Conduct new hire orientation and ensure a positive onboarding experience for new employees.
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including counseling, conflict resolution, exit interviews, and offboarding activities.
- Assist with workplace investigations while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
- Respond to employee questions and concerns, providing timely and effective HR support.
- Coordinate employee recognition programs, engagement initiatives, and company-sponsored events.
- Support departmental continuous improvement initiatives and HR process enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Communicate HR programs, policies, and updates to employees and management.
- Help foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
- Process and support hourly payroll activities, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by your manager.
requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles and practices, including employee relations, recruiting, benefits administration, and employment law compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build credibility and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to establish strong working relationships, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated professional with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or other HR certification preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with HRIS and payroll systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

work environment
- This role is primarily based in office areas but may involve occasional visits to production and warehouse areas requiring adherence to safety protocols, including personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, a safety vest, and steel-toed shoes when on the shop floor or near loading docks.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for computer work, data entry, and handling documents.
- Must be able to occasionally lift or move items up to 25 pounds, such as files, boxes, or company branded items or equipment.
- Visual acuity to review detailed reports, production schedules, HR data, personnel data on screens and in print.
- Clear verbal communication skills to coordinate with all departments, vendors and colleagues.
- Exposure occasionally to a manufacturing environment that may include noise, temperature variations and moving equipment.
- Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, steel-toed boots, gloves, hearing protection, and respirators when applicable.
- Ability to respond to alarms and emergencies in a fast-paced industrial setting.
- Clear verbal communication skills to coordinate with all departments, vendors and colleagues. Specifically, upper intermediate (B2) language level in English.

compensation and benefits
The salaried rate for this role is fair and decided upon based on experience and proven skills alignment through our interview process. This role will observe our companies 12 paid holidays, generous paid time off, and competitive full suite benefits package.
