This position begins as soon as possible and runs through late May 2027, following the school calendar. You'll work full-time, Monday through Friday, with a manageable 35-hour workweek. What We’re Looking For:
- Licensed and actively certified by the Louisiana Department of Education
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist within a K-12 environment preferred
- Ability to complete all district credentialing, including drug screening and fingerprinting
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organization skills
- Comfortable working onsite; this role does not accept remote or virtual candidates
- Flexibility regarding caseload and school assignments as determined by the district
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological services to a diverse student population
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to assess student needs and design interventions
- Conduct assessments, consultations, and crisis interventions as required
- Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to support student learning
- Maintain thorough and accurate records compliant with district and state guidelines
- Provide support for IEP development and attend relevant meetings
