Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Stewarding Supervisor to lead our cleaning and sanitation operations within a vibrant hospitality environment. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of cleaning staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service
- Implement and monitor sanitation procedures in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Conduct regular inspections of all areas to uphold cleanliness, hygiene, and safety protocols
- Train team members on proper cleaning techniques, equipment use, and safety procedures
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, laundry products, and custodial equipment
- Enforce safety regulations to prevent accidents and promote a secure working environment
- Collaborate with management to develop cleaning schedules, set performance goals, and improve operational efficiency
Skills
- Proven experience in industrial cleaning, commercial cleaning, or custodial roles with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and motivate staff
- Excellent communication skills for clear managerial guidance and customer service interactions
- Knowledge of sanitation standards, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management practices
- Experience in hospitality or housekeeping management is highly desirable
- Ability to oversee janitorial operations including laundry services and overall cleanliness standards
- Demonstrated capability in team supervision, management, and delivering exceptional customer service
