An expanding automotive dealership group is seeking an experienced General Sales Manager to join our dynamic team of motivated professionals. If you are looking to expand your career and grow into a General Manager, we are the place for you!
Responsibilities
- Lead and manager sales team/department
- Provide training to sales associates and managers on process, follow up, leasing, finance and closing deals
- Drive daily appointments, showroom traffic, sold units, gross profit and finance performance
- Manage new and used car strategy with store leadership
- Hold sales associates and managers accountable to CRM, phone calls, emails, appointments and daily activity
- Work with finance, service, recon and inventory teams to maximize performance
- Build a thriving culture with strong communication and clear expectations
- Report performance, identify problems quickly and execute solutions
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3+ years automotive management experience - preferably in one of the following roles, GSM, Sales Manager, Finance Manager or variable operations leadership
- Ability to develop sales associates
- Proven ability to grow volume, front-end gross, back-end gross and finance penetration
- Ability to hold team accountable while maintaining a positive culture
- Able to work nights and weekends
- Positive attitude, can-do mentality, confident, outgoing personality and eagerness to improve
- Ability to deliver best-in-class customer service
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
