Job Title: Traveling Electrical Foreman (Design/Build)
Overview CCS is an Indiana based national design/build electrical contractor that performs work all over the country. We are seeking an experienced and driven Electrical Foreman to lead crews on large commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience in electrical construction, with a strong background in design/build work. We prefer to hire and retain local talent that is open to future projects that may require travel.
Duties
· Lead and supervise electrical crews on-site to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
· Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to implement design/build electrical systems efficiently.
· Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure proper installation of electrical systems.
· Maintain safety protocols and enforce compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
· Assist with material planning, job site logistics, and equipment coordination.
· Provide daily progress reports and documentation of work completed.
· Train and mentor apprentices and journeymen to foster skill development and team cohesion.
· Perform quality control inspections and troubleshoot electrical systems as needed.
Requirements
· Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial/industrial electrical work, with leadership or foreman experience.
· Knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
· Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage personnel and project schedules.
· Must be comfortable with full-time travel and working a 17/4 rotation schedule.
· Ability to read and interpret construction documents, plans, and schematics.
· Valid driver’s license and ability to travel nationwide.
· OSHA 30 certification preferred.
· Currently hold or have the ability to obtain state level electrical licensing.
· Electrical controls experience is preferred but not required.
Compensation
- Salary Range: $34-$50/hr – Depending on skillset
- Company sponsored travel
- Hotel/lodging paid by CCS
- Optional camper/RV allowance if preferred
- Initial travel to jobsite paid hourly at straight time
- $40/day per diem
- Flights and/or drivetime home paid by CCS per 17/4 policy
- Company vehicle or auto allowance provided at foreman discretion
- Company cell phone or cell phone allowance provided at foreman discretion
- 3 weeks paid vacation (Prorated first year)
- Insurance available upon date of hire
- Standard work week – 58 hours (dependent upon project schedule)
