Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Shift Leader, Team Leader, or Assistant Manager to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving to ensure quality standards are met consistently
- Supervise and train staff on POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring efficient order processing and cash handling
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability
- Lead shift management activities including scheduling, assigning tasks, and ensuring smooth workflow during busy hours
- Enforce food safety protocols and sanitation standards to maintain compliance with health regulations
- Assist in managing food production processes, including catering, banquet events, or bar service as needed
- Support staff development through training on customer service, food handling, culinary techniques, and team leadership
Experience
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience in hospitality or restaurant management roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis within a food service setting
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through training, coaching, and performance management
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures related to food handling and sanitation
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage staff interviews, training sessions, and team meetings effectively
