Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Position Summary
The Janitor is responsible for cleaning and maintaining client facilities according to established quality standards and budgeted time. This position involves performing a variety of janitorial duties, following safety and security procedures, maintaining professional relationships with clients and coworkers, and communicating effectively with supervisors.
This position requires travel to client sites when assigned.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain assigned rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, stairways, elevators, offices, and other designated areas.
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment up to six feet high and wipe walls as needed.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors using appropriate cleaning equipment.
- Wash windows, windowsills, door panels, and other assigned surfaces.
- Empty trash cans, ashtrays, and other waste containers.
- Safely carry and dispose of large trash bags.
- Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
- Maintain janitorial closets, supplies, and equipment in a clean, organized manner.
- Follow all company, client, safety, and security procedures.
- Report unsafe conditions, accidents, damage, or other unusual occurrences to the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate timekeeping and follow company procedures for clocking in and out.
- Submit time-off requests according to company policy.
- Communicate account concerns, supply needs, equipment issues, and other work-related matters to the supervisor.
- Maintain a professional and respectful relationship with clients, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Complete assigned work within established quality standards and budgeted time.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- English proficiency is required.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English for workplace, safety, training, and client-related communication.
- Spanish is a plus.
- 3–6 months of janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or related cleaning experience preferred.
- Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to adapt to changing tasks, schedules, and work environments.
- Professional and respectful communication skills.
- Ability to interact appropriately with coworkers, supervisors, and clients.
- Ability to safely perform physical janitorial duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and repetitive movements.
- Valid driver's license, insurable driving record, and proof of auto insurance may be required when assigned to multiple client locations.
- Reliable alternative transportation may be acceptable when assigned to a single client site.
Physical & Work Environment
- Work may occur at various client locations, including warehouses, offices, production areas, and other commercial facilities.
- Position may require travel between client sites depending on business needs.
- Work may involve exposure to indoor and outdoor temperatures, cleaning chemicals, dust, and other typical janitorial conditions.
- Employees must follow all applicable safety procedures when handling cleaning products and equipment.
- Must be able to safely and efficiently perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
Pay: $19.00 per hour
