Job Summary
The Catering Coordinator at Tacoverse is responsible for ensuring every catering order is planned, prepared, and delivered with precision, hospitality, and pride. This role supports pre-event coordination, packaging, labeling, on-time delivery, and post-event guest satisfaction follow-up. As a Catering Coordinator, you represent The Tacoverse Standard outside the restaurant—bringing bold flavors and exceptional service directly to our guests.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Guest Coordination & Order Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all catering guests—from initial inquiry to follow-up.
- Confirm catering orders, timing, special requests, and dietary needs.
- Coordinate production timelines and station prep to ensure timely execution.
- Maintain a catering calendar and communicate upcoming orders with management and BOH team.
Order Accuracy & Packaging
- Review all catering build guides to ensure complete and accurate orders.
- Label every item according to Tacoverse standards (including allergens and modifiers).
- Ensure proper packaging, napkin/utensil inclusion, and secure stacking for transport.
Delivery & Setup
- Safely transport catering orders using a personal vehicle when needed.
- Follow all Tacoverse delivery safety, sanitation, and hospitality protocols.
- Set up catering displays per Tacoverse presentation standards, including sauces, chafers, and signage.
Guest Satisfaction & Follow-up
- Ensure on-site guest satisfaction and communicate feedback or issues to the management team.
- Proactively follow up with guests post-delivery for quality checks and future catering opportunities.
- Support the growth of catering through relationship building and brand representation.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Maintain catering forms, logs, invoices, and supply checklists.
- Work with GMs and Shift Leaders to ensure BOH prep and FOH packaging are aligned.
- Track catering supplies and request replenishment as needed (e.g., trays, labels, serving utensils).
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 6+ months of experience in food service, catering, or retail sales strongly preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old with a clean driving record and reliable personal vehicle.
- ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Professional appearance and commitment to punctuality and organization.
