We are seeking an detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen team in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Supervise all kitchen activities including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation to ensure high-quality standards are maintained.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
- Oversee food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times.
- Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance culinary skills, customer service, and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth shift management and seamless service delivery.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; oversee cash handling procedures.
- Maintain a positive team environment by supervising staff performance, conducting interviews for new hires, and fostering professional growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within quick service restaurant settings.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experienced in cash handling and transaction processing.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with a focus on staff training, team management, and leadership in hospitality environments.
- Familiarity with inventory control techniques and food safety standards; experience with budgeting and food production is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Prior experience in fine dining or casual dining environments is advantageous.
