American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position in Worcester, MA, requiring AWHONN certification and the ability to float between L&D and postpartum.

Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting, functioning as a true LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) float pool

Requires floating between Labor & Delivery and Postpartum (PP)
-
Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)

Every other weekend and holiday coverage required

36 or 48 hours per week available

Epic EMR experience required

Local candidates are accepted

Active MA RN license required; a pending MA license is acceptable at time of submission, but the MA conditional (temp) license application must be initiated within 48 hours of offer acceptance

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP

Intermediate level or above AWHONN certification required

Minimum 1–2 years of L&D experience required; 3 years strongly preferred, with travel experience considered in lieu of years

Epic EMR experience required

Must be willing and able to float between L&D and Postpartum

2 professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher

Candidates must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates

Assigned to a maternity float pool, with regular duties split between Labor & Delivery and Postpartum

Orientation includes two pass/fail exams: a medication exam and a telemetry/EKG exam — each allows only one attempt; failure results in immediate contract cancellation

Study materials will be provided prior to and during the compliance process to help candidates prepare for orientation exams

Candidates with prior disciplinary actions on their nursing license will not be considered
-
13- to 26-week contract lengths are available
