ProHealth Partners is an established multi-specialty physician group and has been providing care to patients over the last 30 years. Our network includes over 250+ physicians in over 100+ clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas.
Job Type: Part-time, Temp to Perm
Pay: $23-24 per hour
Hours: MonTues 9am - 5pm, WedFri 1pm - 5pm,
Thursday 10am - 5pm.
Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage administrative tasks and operations within the organization.

Maintain and update medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims.

Schedule appointments and manage calendars for healthcare professionals.

Handle patient inquiries, provide information, and resolve issues.
-
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient privacy.
-
Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.

Assist with billing and financial transactions.
-
Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.

Measures and records vital signs, patient medical history and chief complaints

Prepares patients for examinations and perform routine screening tests

Assists physician with exams and other procedures

Prepares and administers medications and injections with physician authorization
Skills:
-
Medical Assistant with clinical hands on experience.
-
1 year of recent experience as an MA1 year experience of front desk.

Knowledge eligibility and insurance authorizations.
-
Must be Bilingual Spanish fluent.

Experience with insurance verification and processing claims.

Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and documentation.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective patient interaction.
