Responsibilities
- Lead daily classroom routines, including diapering, feeding, and age-appropriate play to promote healthy development.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that support infant growth in areas such as motor skills, language, and social-emotional development.
- Monitor and document each child's progress, communicating regularly with parents about milestones and concerns.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including pediatric first aid, CPR, and mandated reporting laws.
- Manage classroom behavior with positive guidance techniques to foster a respectful and nurturing environment.
- Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive curriculum aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning while adhering to health regulations.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with infants in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is essential.
- Knowledge of child development instruction and childhood development principles.
- Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, and mandated reporting laws is required or willing to obtain upon hire.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to supervise children effectively.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and teamwork collaboration.
- Demonstrated commitment to early childhood education and child safety standards.

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
