Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding guest relations to enhance their experience from arrival to departure
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring efficient service
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a genuine approach
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper food handling and sanitation standards are met
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly to maintain a clean and organized environment
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately during shifts, including OpenTable reservations when applicable
- Support food preparation and kitchen staff as needed, demonstrating teamwork across FOH and BOH (Back of House) operations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife environments such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally and efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with serving, bussing, hosting/hostess duties, or cashiering enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple tables and responsibilities seamlessly
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling and order processing
