Tietronix Software seeks a system engineer in a team environment to support our Model Based System Engineering activities in Houston, Texas.
Responsibilities include:
- Use Model Based Systems Engineering principles to develop SysML systems and software descriptions
- Apply Failure Modes and Effect Analysis method to complex systems from different domains
- Develop system modeling methodologies
Qualifications for this position are:
- Bachelor of Science in system engineering or equivalent
- 0 – 2 years of experience in model-based system engineering
- Experience in SysML, MBSE and system modeling
- Experience with modeling tool such as MagicDraw, Cameo and associated plugins
- High level of initiative, attention to detail, and team-oriented
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively within a team to coordinate systems engineering activities and report status
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills
- Familiarity with aerospace design
- U.S. citizen
