SALARY AND BENEFITS:
Waste Eliminator offers the best pay rate around Atlanta because we employ the best roll off drivers around town. All roll off drivers (except training program) start at $20 / hr, ($30 / hr overtime), but most drivers see a quick move to $25 / hr ($37.50 / hr overtime) after 6 weeks from start date. For those drivers with the highest level of professionalism and experience, we offer $30 / hr ($45 / hr). Overtime is consistent and pay day is weekly. RESPONSIBILITES:
- Operate a tandem axle, cable hook, roll off truck safely, efficiently
- Drive a tandem axle, commercial straight truck while adhering to all company, local, state, and Federal regulations;
- Complete the daily tasks as dispatched by the supervisor - usually no less than 8 stops per day;
- Make decisions and problem solve within the parameters allowed that will best benefit the company and customer;
- Continue being open for training, coaching, and improvement;
- Communicate clearly and amicably to all customers and contractors;
- Complete daily paperwork and tablet obligations to the level of detail expected from training;
- Follow all safety policies and perform in a way that minimizes risks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Class B commercial drivers license is required for a minimum of 2 years;
- 2 yeas of roll off operation experience is required;
- Driving record must have no more than 3 violations in 5 years, no accidents in 3 years, and no disqualifications in 5 years;
- Must have strong work ethic and ownership mentality.
TRAINING PROGRAM QUALIFICATIONS:
If you have no experience in roll off, but meet the following qualifications, you may apply for the training program.
- Class B commercial drivers license is required for a minimum of 5 years;
- 2 years experience with a PTO or heavy equipment operation with a hydraulic system;
- A completely clean 7 year driving record;
- A passion and enthusiasm for the trash and recycling business.
