Job Overview
The Sandwich Spot located at 521 S College Ave Suite 107 is looking for energetic, enthusiastic sandwich artists for a fast-paced fun environment. Experience is needed but not required. Please have food handler's card available (if you don't have one, we'll assist you in obtaining one. Looking for all positions from prep to register, etc.
We will be accepting in-person applications on Thursday, Friday and Saturday form 9:30 am to 3:00 pm

Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, slicers, and food processors
- Follow food safety standards diligently to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices
- Assist in meal preparation for service periods, maintaining consistency and quality in every dish
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen tools through regular cleaning routines
- Support menu planning by preparing ingredients in advance and managing inventory levels
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate timing and ensure smooth operation during busy hours
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient portioning
- Knowledge of dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus
- Familiarity with food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production
- Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining flexibility for special requests or modifications
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with team members and front-of-house staff
- Experience with catering or large-scale meal prep is advantageous for handling diverse service needs

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
