Warehouse Manager – Job Duties
Equipment Handling & Prep
- Pull, prep, and pack gear for events, rentals, and tours according to pull sheets
- Test and clean audio, lighting, video, and staging equipment before and after use
- Wrap cables, organize cases, and label gear for transport
- Check-in/check-out processes Equipment Via inventory software
Loading & Unloading
- Safely load and unload trucks using dollies, ramps, or forklifts as required
- Secure equipment properly during transport prep to prevent damage
- Move heavy gear and staging components efficiently and safely
Deliveries and Cross Dock
- Have clean driving record
- Must be able to safely drive truck and trailer
- Make deliveries of items rented by clients. I.e tables, chairs, tents, etc
- Pickup and return subrentals from partnering companies
Warehouse Organization
- Keep warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards
- Return gear to its designated location after shows
- Maintain labeled shelving, storage bins, and road cases for quick access
Maintenance Support
- Report damaged or malfunctioning gear to management
- Perform basic maintenance such as cable rewraps, lamp replacements, and case touch-ups
- Assist with in-house repairs or prep for external service
Inventory Control
- Inventory counts and data entry
- Scan and tag gear using barcodes or asset tracking software
- Monitor stock levels of consumables like tape, batteries, and tie line
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all warehouse safety protocols and PPE requirements
- Operate forklifts or pallet jacks (with certification or training)
- Maintain awareness of fire exits, safety equipment, and SDS procedures
General Labor
- Assist with facility maintenance tasks (sweeping, cleaning restroom, taking out trash, light repairs)
- Perform groundskeeping or vehicle cleaning as assigned
- Support other departments with event setup or teardown as needed
Team Collaboration
- Work under the direction of the Operations Manager
- Coordinate tasks with other warehouse staff and technicians
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude on and off-site
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
