Responsibilities:
Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans
Provide direct patient care, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions as prescribed by the physical therapist
Conduct patient assessments, record data, and maintain accurate records
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in physical therapy
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved physical therapy assistant program
Current PTA certification in the state of Florida
