American Traveler is seeking a travel RN - Case Manager for an inpatient hospital position in Oregon, requiring an active OR RN license, Epic experience, and at least 2 years of inpatient case management experience.

Inpatient Case Manager role within a hospital setting

Focus areas include discharge planning, long-stay management, and care coordination

Schedule is 4x10-hour shifts (7:00–17:30) with a variable schedule

Weekend rotation required — one full weekend every third weekend

Epic EMR experience required

May be required to float to a nearby affiliate hospital; refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation

Active Oregon (OR) RN license required

Current AHA BLS certification required

BSN or MSN required

Minimum 2 years of inpatient Case Manager experience required

Epic charting experience required

Two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months required — Charge RN references are not acceptable

COVID vaccination proof required with no exemptions

Responsibilities include concurrent and retrospective medical record review, insurance authorization documentation, and coordinating discharge plans and community transitions

Preferred experience includes knowledge of Medicare/insurance guidelines, complex discharges, DME, Home Health, Hospice, SNF placements, and prior authorizations

Business casual attire or scrubs are acceptable

Local candidates are accepted at the same rate — no radius restriction

Candidates who were previously employed or on assignment at the associated health system must provide a reference from the OHSU manager who supervised them

Former staff must have been gone for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler

Requested time off must be submitted at time of consideration and may not exceed 2 weeks
