Exciting opportunity ahead! We are launching a brand-new vintage/lifestyle store in mid-September 2026 specializing in curated girly Y2K, Euro, and romantic vintage clothing, adding in a unique mix of gifts and trinkets. We are in need of a creative, Social Media Content Creator to help build our launch hype and run our TikTok and Instagram presence.
In this micro-role (8 hours/week), your primary mission is to visit our shop, style inventory, and batch-create a week's worth of highly engaging short-form videos and photos (5 TikToks/Reels & 5-10 Instagram posts). You will hand the finished content over to the owner to schedule and publish throughout the week. This is a perfect position for students/young adults who love this exact style and want hands-on fashion marketing experience!
Key Responsibilities
- Batch Content Creation: Plan, film, and edit a weekly batch of TikToks, Instagram Reels, and written photo posts during your 8-hour shift.
- Aesthetic Styling: Pull and style content featuring our curated Euro y2k pieces, Y2K tops, accessories (purses, jewelry, shoes), skirts, designer finds, and romantic pieces - slip skirts and dresses.
- Trend Application: Identify viral audio tracks and trending fashion/lifestyle formats, adapting them quickly to fit our store's ultra-girly, curated vibe.
- Content Hand-off: Organize and deliver the final, ready-to-post video files, captions, and suggested hashtags directly to the owner.
Qualifications
- Experience creating engaging short-form video content (TikTok and Reels) or just a love for creating content and are comfortable in front of the camera.
- Knowledge and passion for women's vintage fashion, specifically Y2K, Euro, and the "coquette/romantic" aesthetic.
- An eye for merchandising and romanticizing small items like gifts, accessories, and trinkets on camera.
- Proficient in mobile video editing apps.
- Highly organized and efficient at managing time to hit production goals during a short shift.
