Project Estimator (Entry Level)
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Project Estimator to join our commercial construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in construction estimating while working alongside experienced professionals on projects valued up to $5 million.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and material counts using Bluebeam Revu and Excel.
- Obtain pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Help prepare bid proposals, cost breakdowns, and estimate spreadsheets.
- Support project managers and estimators throughout the bidding process.
- Maintain organized project files and estimating documentation.
Preferred but not required
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Basic knowledge of construction drawings and estimating principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Bluebeam Revu is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the commercial construction industry.
Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
