All City Candy is a locally owned confectionery business combining retail, online sales, and an in-house production kitchen. We specialize in hand-dipped and decorated treats like pretzels, cookies, and specialty items — with a strong focus on presentation, consistency, and quality.
We are not a from-scratch chocolate kitchen. This role is ideal for someone with a cake decorating, bakery decorating, or hands-on food production background who enjoys working creatively while keeping an organized, well-run kitchen.
What You’ll Do
- Hand-dip and decorate items such as pretzels, cookies, and specialty treats
- Ensure all finished products are consistent, clean, and visually appealing
- Lead daily production and work alongside a small kitchen team
- Keep the kitchen organized, labeled, and inspection-ready at all times
- Maintain daily production priorities and follow tasks through to completion
- Ensure chocolate cases are stocked, clean, labeled, and merchandised properly
- Manage private-label and special orders from start to finish
- Track inventory levels for in-house produced items
- Uphold food safety, cleanliness, and quality standards
- Communicate needs or issues early and proactively
- Assist with light customer or store needs when required
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in cake decorating, bakery decorating, candy making, or food production
- A self-motivated worker who takes pride in staying organized and clean
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Comfortable leading by example in a hands-on role
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Thrives in a small business where ownership and accountability matter
- Weekend availability required
Schedule & Seasonality
- Full-time or part-time (minimum 30 hours/week)
- Peak season is September–December (must be available during this time)
- Slower, steadier pace outside of peak season
