Overview
We are seeking motivated Owner Operators who possess their own commercial insurance to join our dynamic transportation team. This role offers the exciting opportunity to operate independently while contributing to a fast-paced logistics network. As an Owner Operator, you will be the driving force behind delivering exceptional service, managing your own schedule, and building strong relationships with clients. Duties
- Operate commercial vehicles efficiently and safely, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
- Manage your own schedule to ensure timely pickups and deliveries across designated routes
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate shipments and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Negotiate rates and service terms with clients to maximize profitability while maintaining excellent customer relations
- Promote the company's services through outside sales efforts, including retail sales and marketing initiatives
Qualifications
- Must have own valid commercial vehicle insurance coverage that meets or exceeds industry standards
- Proven experience as an Owner Operator or in a similar transportation role
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms for services rendered
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for diverse client interactions
- Knowledge of sales administration, analysis skills, and customer service best practices
- Ability to perform outside sales activities, including telemarketing and retail sales outreach
- Familiarity with marketing strategies and benefits administration related to transportation services
- Demonstrated understanding of safety regulations such as HIPAA (if applicable) or other industry-specific compliance standards
